We haven't been super active on the site recently. That's mainly because there hasn't been any big changes. We got this seat donated to us by Mid Florida Tech. (Two pictured, only have one)

If you take a look around, you'll see that things have been added, removed, and updated. Take a look around to see some new info about the sim.
We have our new trim wheel setup with it's 3D printed casing. We have also got a articulating arm with a keyboard tray to hold our wireless keyboard and mouse for convenience. We no longer have to turn around to type of select things.
We have a new Trim Wheel coming to replace our Saitek Cessna Trim Wheel. We are doing this due to the fact that the drivers for it are buggy and can crash our PC. We will be replacing it with the Desktop Aviator Trim Wheel.
Today, we will be meeting with The National Center for Simulation's Hank Okraski and Seninole State College's Bill Gaught. We will be discussing the future of the sim and how to improve upon the designs.
We have gotten Prepar3D reinstalled onto our Sim PC and have it working across all 3 displays. We are now working to getting everything back into working order. We have gotten all the panels back up and running. This Friday, we are going to be having a meeting with The National Center for Simulation's Hank Okraski and Seninole State College's Bill Gaught, who we are working with on the new revision of the Sim.
UPDATE: School has been canceled for Friday and Monday by order of Governor Rick Scott. We will reschedule the meeting. What is left to do:
Yesterday, we stayed after school to set the sim back up with the new TVs. We rotated the entire sim 90 degrees to give us some better working room. We then started reinstall drivers and we got everything working. We started our testing with FSX since we didn't currently have Prepar3D installed. The only things that didn't work properly was the Flight Instrument Panels (FIPs) and the Trim Wheel. The FIPs would turn on and show instruments but it didn't display and info. This could very well be just an issue with the SimConnect or the software itself. We will continue work on it. We are working towards formatting our sim PC because we have to disconnect it from the network. We will be installing Windows 7 Professional. Today, our new TVs and Stands should come in and next Tuesday, we will finish assembling them and mounting TVs. We will post pictures once we have them setup.
Update: We were able to install Windows 7 onto the PC and now we are doing updates to it. Monday, we will start looking into drivers and software installed. We also got our new TVs today, but the stands did not. We are now expecting them to get here Monday. As school has just completed the first week back, we haven't done much work on the sim. We started replacing some USB cables for our FIP's (Flight Instrument Panel) to shorter ones and we remounted a bar to our Yoke stand. We are also recruiting some new faces for our team as one of our major contributors will be graduating this year.
Updated: All the PC's in our school this year have been updated to Windows 10, because of this, we have to reimage our Sim PC to run Windows 10. This may take a few days to fully update and then we will have to reinstall Prepar3D (possibly V4) Today, we got approved to buy 2 50 Inch TV's to go towards our sim. We are currently looking into TV's.
